Before reaching out Sumatra island, I've stop few days in Badung on Java island. In reality I've discovered more the sites around the city than Badung itself. 

 

One of them is Ciater area, gathering beautiful hot springs looking over the jungle.  

And the most famous one: the White Crater, a volcanic crater about 50 kilometres south of Badung. 
It consists of a white-to-turquoise body of water, scattered skeleton of trees and soaring mist. Strangely enough, the color of the crater’s surface changes with weather conditions and sulphuric contents. 
The surroundings are a great escape from the city.
