El Prado was a real escape from the capital city, and maybe the best way to step into the beautiful landscapes Colombia has to offer: huge peaceful lake surrounded by green hills.

We found a lovely hotel on the lake side where we were welcomed as friends (thanks a lot to Cesar and his family for his hospitality).

 

From kayaking during sunset, hiking with the 2 big dogs of the property, chilling at the pool, we enjoyed this relaxed time and realised how lucky we were to be in this quiet paradise.
