Salento

Salento is a good gate away from big noisy cities thanks to its natural splendor, fresh air and lively artisan market.

The Spanish colonial town sits in the rolling green foothills region of the Andes, offering enchanting valleys home to wax palm tree, the world’s tallest species of palm.

Even if most of people hike Cocora Valley to watch this majestic green scenery, we decided to join a bike tour and visit La Carbonera Valley. We did't regret our choice.

If you want to find a good coffee selection to bring back with you, Salento is maybe one of the most picturesque places to make that happen. Go to a coffee farm, you will also be shown everything you ever wanted to know about how coffee is grown, harvested and sent to market.
