Salento is a good gate away from big noisy cities thanks to its natural splendor, fresh air and lively artisan market.

 The Spanish colonial town sits in the rolling green foothills region of the Andes, offering enchanting valleys home to wax palm tree,​ the world’s tallest species of palm. 

Even if most of people hike Cocora Valley to watch this majestic green scenery, we decided to join a bike tour and visit La Carbonera Valley. We did't regret our choice.
