Kep, once known as Kep-sur-Mer is situated  just a short tuk-tuk ride away from Kampot. 

Boasting a lot of charm, delicious crab, a nice stretch of sand and countryside, a visit to Kep is a must.

 

There is even a giant crab statue down the coast, as well as the White Lady statue, facing the seashore. Nearby you'll find Kep's famous Crab Market and some good restaurants (Holy Crab is a must).

 

For a slice of rustic island life, you can jump on one of the former fishing boats that take visitors to the nearby island Koh Tonsay, or Rabbit Island. Nice spot to chill for a day trip.
