Minca

After the dusty trip in the desert, we decided to cool down in Minca, a peaceful little village in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta mountains. With a cooler climate, refreshing mountain streams and waterfalls, amazing biodiversity, coffee and cacao farms, Minca was the perfect place for us.

We decided to sleep at Finca Carpe Diem, an eco-resort in the middle of the jungle near Minca. We enjoyed having stunning views over mountains and endless virgin forests while swimming in one of their pools. Truly, we felt completely disconnected. Located alongside a crystalline river with private entrances, we also tried some of the swimming holes and waterfalls nearby.
