Little paradise on the west coast of Cambodia, both Koh Rong & Koh Rong Samloen share a pristine beauty and white sandy beaches lapped by a turquoise ocean. These remote and undeveloped tropical islands are a short boat ride away from Sihanoukville.

The largest, most developed (and more touristic) one is Koh Rong, the first stop on the boat ride. It tends to get all the attention, with the majority of travellers heading straight to Koh Touch. However, peace remains easy to find, thanks to the island’s 28 beaches.

If you want something even more preserved and quiet, head to Kok Rong Samloen. The island is more local, there are fewer tourists, nearly no connexion and the beaches really look like ideal postcards to send.
