Kapas island

Let’s get on a boat trip to the quiet non touristic Kapas Island, a tiny island on the east coast of Malaysia, just under the Perhentian islands. I say tiny because it measures roughly 1.5 by 2.5 km.

This paradise offers stunning pinkish sunsets and gorgeous submarine life. Its name, Pulau Kapas (Malay for cotton island), refers to the island's white beaches. The island has tropical jungle, clear seawater, white sand beaches and coral reefs in the surrounding waters. It is promoted as a "diving and snorkeling paradise". And I completely agree with this description. This is where I've observed the most diversified and colourful fishes only few meters away from the beach. Pure happiness.
