In Kerala, we went directly to Munnar (also known as ‘the Kashmir of South India’), a charming hill station with tea plantations, chill area around a lake and aromatic vegetations.

 

From there, we discovered the Athirapally Falls, also known as the ‘Niagara Falls of India’: a 24.4 metres majestic waterfall characterised by rich flora and fauna.

Before taking back the train to Bengalore, we experienced a beautiful river cruise for a night on the Thekkhady river. It was definitely worth it.
